Melbourne, Australia has some fun and interesting places to check out but, my favorite was probably the Storyville Tavern. A literary themed bar featuring beautiful cocktail concoctions with toasted marshmallows and overflowing with dry ice mist… the decor and cocktails make this a must see if you are a book nerd and visiting the city.

We unfortunately didn’t get to stay long as we went in the afternoon right after they opened with our baby in tow and maybe 20 minutes after arriving we learned why babies and bars don’t mix as she grabbed a candle and poured the wax down her shirt (not leading to any injury but shocking her and sending her into a much expected fit) so, we quickly exited with a wailing baby in tow.
