Fashionably Nerdy Adventures: Nerdy Things to do in Seattle

It’s been awhile since I have ventured to Seattle but I definitely believe it to be one of the best Nerdy destinations in the country (if not the world). It’s full of really fantastic adventures to be had in fandom and pop culture . So here is a small list of some recommended places to check out when planning a trip to Seattle.

The coolest nerdy places I’ve visited in Seattle

Have Brunch at Bookstore a book lovers dream… restaurant, bar, and cafe.

Check out the Seattle Public Library, Central Library gorgeous architecture and so many books.


Climb The Troll in Fremont as seen in “10 Things I Hate About You” and on ABC’s “Once Upon A Time” a pretty neat huge sculpture.

Play a board game and sip a drink at Raygun Loungejust one of the many nerdy gaming bars/restaurants Seattle has to offer.

Have a great glass of whiskey or a cocktail and improve your skills at Rabbithole Skeeball Bar

Spend hours and a lot of quarters at Shorty’s Pinball Bar

Get off your phone at AFK Tavern in Everett & AFK Elixirs and Eatery in Renton… the most epic nerdy menu of board games, themed food, cocktails, and even the decor and tv’s match the menu

Spend a day at the EMP Museum / MoPop Museumthe coolest Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Pop Culture, and Music museum I’ve ever seen…

See the history of Seattle in a unique perspective on the Underground Tour

At The Unicorn and Narwhal Bar eat tasty carnival themed treats, play in an arcade and test your knowledge at trivia or live shows

There are tons of amazing conventions like Geek Girl Con, Emerald City Comic ConSakura-Conand Norwescon

If you are interested in a classic Seattle experience go down to Pike’s Place Market and see the original Starbucks location or the disgustingly beautiful Gum Wall


When you want to see the whole city but you are a little short on time take a trip to the top of the Space Needle
