Samantha and her husband Mark have been very open about their journey with infertility and the rollercoaster ride that it’s taken them on. Through the struggles they still haven’t given up hope that they can expand their family and open their home to munchkins that need them. They have been starting a new journey and that’s the journey of becoming foster parents and before you can get certified to bring home a baby to foster they have to have all the tools of the parenting trade so naturally we all wanted to shower her with love and presents to help her on her road to motherhood.
Sam & Mark love Lord of The Rings and their nursery is LOTR themed so it totally made sense that her shower was also LOTR!
Sam’s good friend Christina and her parents organized a foster shower in Kissimmee, FL and Lulu and I flew out to attend and spend a couple of days with Samantha and Mark (and their dog Gimli… she loves Gimli).
