I have been feeling extra old recently – maybe it’s the fact that I just had a birthday… maybe it’s because I was in a bad car accident that has left me feeling immobile… maybe it’s lack of sleep from a teething baby that’s up a bunch of times every night… maybe it’s dehydration from feeding a teething baby that’s up a bunch of times every night — but I felt like for the first time in my life my skin was really showing age… I looked as worn out as I felt… but I started using a couple of products that have really made me feel human again – none of these companies have sponsored this post (though I’m open to working with them in the future because I’m now a big fan) – these are real products I’m using and LOOOOVING!
The best part is they are all the kind of products you just use before bed and wake up looking refreshed and new!
This is my face in it’s late 30’s, mom of 2 children glory after using these night time products – no photoshop, just instagram filters and good natural lighting. I don’t do a lot of heavy makeup – been using bareminerals powder mineral foundation for about 10 years. My forehead used to be the source of my agony and now I’m totally pulling my bangs up and showing my forehead off in it’s natural state.
Kiehl’s Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Overnight Firming Mask
Smells Great and I wake up glowing! $54
Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask
Why do you have 2 overnight masks on your list? because they both are amazing and I alternate them nightly! This one also makes my skin super soft and smells amazing! $48
ROC Correxion Sensitive Night Cream
ugh, another overnight product… you say — where do I put this one? I use this only on my wrinkles…”You don’t have any wrinkles”, you say… well, I do have wrinkles but I use this stuff and it minimizes the crap out of them – my forehead looked really scary until I started using this stuff at night so I use this on my forehead and in-between my brows and use the other masks on the rest of my face! $23
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
By far the best lip product I’ve ever used… leaves my lips moisturized hours and hours later and yes I put it on before I go to sleep $20
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
I have very dry hands and feet and I use this stuff at night and within a few days of doing it routinely I have baby soft feet again! I use the original formula of this product but it does come in a bunch of different scents I’d love to try like Apricot & White Tea, Coconut & Lime, Mango, Honeysuckle, Jasmine (probably my favorite scent for things) and Vanilla. Around $32 (travel size option available for $12 or oversized for $60)
That’s it – my super easy – super low maintenance – bedtime products that make a HUGE difference in my appearance and how I feel in my skin! If I stop using these products I do see my skin swaying back to tired and wrinkly and dry so, these are not 1 and done solutions – but something you have to keep with. I am still looking for the best overnight eye cream and something to help get rid of Milia on my eyelids… If you have suggestions— I would LOOOOOVE them! What are you using you love?
