We at Fashionably Nerdy are getting so excited for the 2015 SDCC Her Universe Fashion Show!
We will be there and hope you will be too! Samantha & Xander will be sitting in the audience making sure to get the best coverage of the show while Anastasia, Bonnie, and Stephanie will be backstage showing you the behind the scenes and also will be strutting their stuff down the runway to show you all the cool new fashions available at Comic Con & HerUniverse.com and also whats coming soon to Hot Topic stores!

You will also get a chance to see the design competition featuring 26 amazing designs by
Lauren Andrews, Ericka Angiuli, Kelly Cercone, Laura Desch, Daisy Evans, Jessica Gonzalez, Lindsay Hamilton, Kathryn Henzler, Sarah Henzler, Hannah Kent, Kristin Koga, Harmony Leiker, Belinda Mendoza , Jennifer Newman, Emily Ong, Laura Cristina Ortiz, Leetal Platt, Megan Porch, Tara Reich, Adria Sanchez-Chaidez, Amy Scott, Kristi Siedow-Thompson, Sam Skyler, Jesse Thaxton, Oseas Villatoro, and Erica Williams.

There were over 150 entries this year so we can only imagine what these 26 must have designed to make it to the show. We cannot wait to see what these designers have cooked up and it’s nice to see a few of our favorite designers returning but mostly a brand new crop of designers we will get to meet and be introduced to their artistry.

The winners (audience and judges choice) get to design a line with Her Universe & Hot Topic to be mass produced and sold in Hot Topic stores across the country.

The Fashion Show takes place at San Diego Comic Con Thursday Night at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel San Diego (just 2 doors down from the convention center… a 5 min walk) – admission is free but you must have a Comic Con Badge to attend – and it’s first come first serve – for the best seats in the house be prepared to wait an hour or 2 before the doors open.
