I love Polka Dots, I love Minnie Mouse… I love female empowerment – I LOVE THIS EVENT SO MUCH! Jaclyn Johnson of Create and Cultivate (an organization that throws female empowerment and entrepreneurship events in the Los Angeles area) and Disney’s Minnie Mouse team partnered for National Polka Dot Day to throw an event that celebrated Women, Fashion, Being Bold, Radiant, and Positive. The Polka Dot Summit made all my dreams come true!
The day I attended featured panels about fitness and fashion… taking your own path and being uniquely you… and even a Minnie Mouse drawing class with Disney artist Jeff Shelly.
All the vendors and sponsors of the weekend were amazing we were gifted awesome swag bags and had free food and drinks including a Lunch from a Gourmet Taco Truck, Polka Dot Latte Coffee Cart, Snacks, Ice Cream, Glitter Cotton Candy, Fresh Juices, and a huge array of other beverages including a Cocktail Hour at the end of the day.
We were also treated to beauty pampering including a Red Lips and Lashes Bar, Minnie Mouse Hair Station with pearl barrettes, and polka dot statement nail manicures.
The event featured a Minnie Museum featuring Minnie Fashion pieces and a ton of fun photo setups.
I met some wonderful ladies including the honoree herself… Minnie and had the best time that I won’t soon forget. Thank you so much to Create and Cultivate and Disney for an outstanding day.
