Milo Archimedes Gooberman joined us after a long journey to the outside world (that included 2 long inductions)
he was born January 9th and weighed 7lbs 4 oz and was 21 in long…. now he’s 14lbs and 5 months old and really a person…
he is so cheerful and good natured, always happy and easy going.
Here are a few of my favorite outfits on him thus far and where to find them
I love these awesome velcro swaddles from Halo – they are quick and easy to use and come in great prints like this Harry Potter print (above) and Finding Nemo print (below)
This video game themed onesie was perfect for his video game themed announcement (pictured above) and on him
These little fox pjs are so cute – they have a 2 way zipper and the feet are not covered, they are very soft- I loved them so much I got them in several sizes- 2 way zippers are amazing – they allow for diaper changes without making baby cold or taking the entire out off
This time around with baby number 3, I really thought about what clothing I was missing the first 2 times around – what I didn’t have but totally would have wanted so, I decided to make a few of my own onesies – and I liked them so much I thought other moms might also – so, I put them up for sale in my Etsy shop and I was really surprised how quickly the orders rolled in… I guess other moms feel the same way I do… This is my Doctor Who themed onesie that says “Companion in training” because aren’t all our babies just our companions on this crazy adventure through time and space? Two hearts living in One Body…. I love Milo in this onesie – his eyes are a really bright blue right now (everyone in my family has dark eyes – except my dad has blue eyes he inherited from my grandma— i loved my grandma so much I hope they stay this color but know the odds are very small)
Rust is probably my favorite color of clothing in general – so I love this color for baby clothes too. Even better that it is ribbed and has Wicket the Ewok, emboidered on the chest! It’s Star Wars, Cozy, and Cute! – it’s got the little feeties on it so nearly a perfect PJ (if only it had a 2-way zipper)
Some people might think it’s weird to put a baby in black – but I think it’s so chic and practical – These button up pjs with feeties won’t have to be as intensely laundered as their lighter colored counterparts. Baby spit up, food, and poop leaves yellow stains on whites and light colors… they will never leave their mark on this awesome looking set. I only regret I didn’t get them in more sizes. They came from Nordstrom but haven’t been able to find them since – if you are looking for baby clothes in black I highly recommend looking at Primary, they sell baby and kids clothes in every solid color, even black.
I love Hickory Stripe overalls and have them in every size for toddlers but this is my first pair I’ve had for babies.
I have always been a fan of Cotton On Kids, however lately they have been knocking it out of the park with these super soft cotton peace sign pjs, with footies, and 2-way zipper- definitely a favorite!
I’ve had a TON of Harry Potter themed Onesies over the last 5 years with my babies – (my husband and I met because of HP, had a fandom / HP themed wedding and my daughter’s baby shower was HP themed) but there were a couple of designs out there I wished I had but just didn’t exist so, I made them – this is my favorite – and is for sale in my Etsy shop. Because Milo is a first Year wizard…. (no squib here – no, snuggle that muggle)
Milo is a super happy baby so we nicknamed him “SMILO” – So, I had to make him a onesie with his nickname
I think that’s it for this little 5 month wrap-up. I’m sure I’ll have new outfits to share soon!
